Dry Tortugas NPOTA Activation – November 13th-14th, 2016 – W2LI

NPOTA NP17 – IOTA NA-079 – Grid EL84 – World Wide Flora & Fauna  KFF-0023

W2LI will be operating from Dry Tortugas National Park in the Gulf of Mexico from November 13th through the 14th of 2016 (1600z to 1700z). We will be active on phone and digital (PSK and JT65/9) modes on 80 through 6 meters. We will also attempt to work applicable satellite passes of SO50, AO85, FO29, AO73, and XW satellites.

We do not have internet access and will be working off of simple wire antennas, barefoot at 100 watts. If you work us, kindly consider spotting us from this rare grid, NPOTA, and IOTA.

***IF THERE IS A 6 METER OPENING INTO THE GULF OF MEXICO, PLEASE LET US KNOW WHEN WORKING US ON THE AIR. We will NOT be monitoring 6 meters actively, but will switch to 6 meters for an opening to give out the rare 6 meter grid of EL84 for the FFMA***
